Environmental Design
City Church is home, a place where I’ve not only been able to connect with incredible people whom I call family but also relationally with God. Each season, we have screen kits that help to bring the proper ambiance and aesthetic. Each slide serves a purpose, whether to inform the auditorium that it’s time for communion or prayer or simply a screen to serve as a background for a speaker. The goal here is to bring a theme cohesively while still having an emphasis on clear visual communication.
The Design
The winter screen kit's design language is based on a specific color palette. It is used in the winter season at City Church, and its visual execution features Chicago skyscrapers and large, soft shapes that hug the screen.
