BFA FASHION
MAGAZINE & EXHIBITION
In the Spring of 2025, my colleague Indiya Roberts and I helped art direct Columbia College Chicago’s Fashion Department for the Senior BFA catalog and exhibition. At the start of the Spring Semester, Indiya and I were tasked with the brilliant honor of designing the catalog. Our research ideas were noticed enough for the Associate Professor and the Coordinator of the Arts Management Program in the Business and Entrepreneurship Department, Robert Blandford, to ask us to design the Senior Exhibition. With the brilliant help of our dear peers Gracie Bloom and Liz Czech, we were able to create an elegant and daring brand not only for the Senior catalog but for the exhibition as well.
We took a bold, yet clean step by bringing a wild serif. It’s beautiful curvatures complimented the unique outfits that were a part of these exhibitions. Unorthodox. Working on this project not only challenged our technical and conceptual skills but also taught us the power of collaboration, trust, and adaptability in a professional creative environment. Learning This experience is a defining moment in my academic career—an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a major institutional showcase while growing as a designer and creative leader.
