OTF25: OPENTWENTYFIVE
EXHIBITION & WEBSITE
OTF25 represents the idea of openness. Open to new possibilities, open to interpretation, and open to the future of design. As the graduating class of 2025, we step into an industry shaped by digital evolution, having grown up in an era where design tools, fonts, and inspiration were always just a click away. The name also nods to OpenType (OTF) fonts, a defining feature of modern typography, reflecting the accessibility and fluidity of the digital world we were raised in. This theme embraces clean, modern typography, ensuring that the designers’ work remains the focal point while celebrating the generation that grew up designing in an open, interconnected digital landscape.
I had the honor of building the OTF25 website—my chance to flex some long-trained (and slightly over-caffeinated) website-building muscles. More than just a site, it was a space to celebrate the creative energy and vision of our graduating seniors. From the start, we knew it had to feel personal—something that captured the spirit of the class and welcomed visitors into our world, no matter where they were. One of the more important sections of the website was curating the online exhibition. We wanted to make sure that even those who couldn’t attend in person still had a seat at the table. It became a digital gallery, a kind of time capsule that gave each senior their own spotlight. Every hover, scroll, and click was considered to feel intentional, like you were walking through a virtual hallway of stories, ideas, and identity. It was more than a project; it felt like a gift to our peers.
