SHIRT DESIGN

In the summer of 2022, I had the privilege of designing a T-shirt graphic for the Carhartt Midwest Management Team in Dearborn, Michigan—a project that will always hold a special place in my heart. Growing up, Carhartt was one of those brands I looked up to. It represented style, utility, and that cool, rugged edge that every streetwear and skateboard-loving kid admired. So to actually design something for them? Surreal. It felt like one of those full-circle moments—going from being the kid who saved up for a Carhartt beanie to the designer behind a shirt people would proudly wear. I poured everything into that project. Every concept meeting, every sketch, every tweak to the layout—it all felt exciting because it was my first “big” project. Seeing the final shirt in the hands (and on the backs) of the team was the moment it really hit me. That smile didn’t leave my face for days. It was more than a design—it was a dream realized.
